The questions we get asked most

Plain-English guides →
How much does a website cost?
Our packages start at $349 and every one is listed with its price on our pricing page — you do not have to ask to find out. What moves the number is how many pages you need, whether you are selling online, and whether anything has to be custom-built. We quote the whole job up front, not an hourly rate that drifts.
Do you charge a setup fee?
No. The package price is the price. There is no separate setup or activation fee on top.
How does payment work?
Half the project fee before work starts, the balance on the day the site goes live. Any ongoing charge, like a care plan or hosting, starts when the site is live and repeats until you cancel it.
Are there ongoing costs after the site is built?
Only the ones you choose. A website needs somewhere to live, so either a care plan or hosting at $29 a month, and a domain renews yearly — ours is $39 a year, or you can register it yourself for less. Everything beyond that is optional and priced on the same page.
Is the price really fixed, or will it creep?
Fixed for what is written in the agreement. Two rounds of changes to the design are included. If you later want a page or a feature that was never in the scope, we quote that separately before anybody does any work — you will not get a surprise invoice.
Do you do payment plans?
The standard arrangement is half up front and half on launch, which is already a payment plan of sorts. If you need something different, ask — it is a conversation, not a form.
How long does a website take?
It depends mostly on you, not on us: the clock really starts when we have your text, photos, prices and hours. We put a target date in writing once that material is in hand. Late material moves the date, which is why we do not advertise a fixed turnaround we cannot control.
What do you need from me to start?
Your text, photos, logo, prices and opening hours, and a clear idea of what the site is for. If some of that does not exist yet, say so — it is a normal starting point and we can work out what is actually needed.
